Right from the hotel, the tour is made to the "Old Town", with one of the most striking place being Icheri Sheher. It is known to be the area, almost the heart of the whole country and the capital, which is surrounded by the walls of the fort. Then the sightseeing investigation is based along the olden parts of the city, seeing the Market Square, Juma Mosque, Synyk Gala Castle, Caravanserais, baths, Maiden Tower of the XII century, residential buildings and the Palace of Shirvan Shakhov of the XV century. Guests have a chance to find out the way of creation of monuments, just visiting the Workshop of the artist Ali Shamsi, identified as the UNESCO historical heritage site. Then you have lunch and start for the walking route along the city Baku. Night is taken in the hotel of the city.
Day 3: Baku - Gobustan - Baku
Here comes the morning when you start viewing of the Bibi-Heybat complex, recognized for the mosque, tombs and graves. And one of the most famous one is of Ukeima khanum, known to be the successor of the Prophet Muhammad. As then the course is taken to the "Gobustan Reserve of rock carvings", invitees get to see the collection of 6,000 rocks, most of which being about 30,000 years old. After it the group drives the way of 10km to active volcanoes of Absheron. Having seen this wonder of the country, lunch is served and the return to the capital is organized. In the capital the Carpet Museum is also offered for visiting and we are glad to present the 10,000 items, counting ceramics, metal and bronze jewelry, metal items of the 14th century, carpets and rugs of the 17th-20th centuries, gold and silver jewelry, national clothing and embroidery. Night in the end of the day is organized in the hotel.
Day 4: Baku - Lankaran (Girkansky reserve) - Baku
The sightseeing of today is the Hirkan Nature Reserve, identified as the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO, and the climate changing zone from humid to dry subtropics. Here flora and fauna is extremely rich and we are able to get to see about 1900 kinds of plants like boxwood, ironwood, velvet maple, giant figs, silk acacia. But about 160 ones grow in the Talysh mountains only. Fauna is also fantastic here with main representatives in the face of leopard, the Caucasian lynx, the stone marten, the porcupine, the Talysh spotted woodpecker, the Iranian robin, the Persian snake. Going on, dinner is taken in the restaurant. This time guests can order for extra price the folklore and dance ensemble Nyanyalar (Grandmothers). Getting back to Baku, night is spent in the hotel.
Day 5: Baku - Shemakha - Gabala - Sheki
We leave Baku one more time and take the route to Shamakha, presented with the vertical wall of Sheikh Diri Baba's rock-cut mausoleum. It is the place of the Maraza village, famous for the symbolism of geometric shapes. Being here many legends of the country and the location will be told to you by the guides. Then Juma Mosque is seen and we start for the Gabala settlement. It is based in the Nij village, where the Albanian church is located. This is the place of the Udins as well. And these are the people gathered from 26 Albanian tribes making up the Albanian state (III century BC - VII century AD). Lunch is served in the Aspi Winery for the idea of trying wine as well. As then we return to Sheki, dinner is prepared in the restaurant, where national Mugam music is playing, with the night to be held in the hotel.
Day 6: Sheki - Baku
Your morning begins with the trip to the territory located at the height of 700m, covered with the mountains and oak timberlands. Take a chance of trying to create Sheki Halva in the Shebeke workshop. Going further, the Caucasian village of Kish is visited and it is presented with the capital of the local khanate of the past times. Later you have lunch and get to the Sheki Ipek Silk Mill. Right here the guests of Azerbaijan are able to find out the pride of the whole country, and the village as well, the kelagai. It is the silky headscarf created for women. It is known to be the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO. Night is taken in the hotel of the capital.
Day 7: Baku - Absheron Peninsula - Baku
In the last day of the tour in Azerbaijan, invitees are going to see the Historical and Archaeological Museum, based in the village, taken from the Bronze Age, Gala village. But the museum is seen as of the open air type, also being created in the times of the fort existence, of the 5th century. Also we would like to identify the Ateshgah Temple of Fire Worshipers, where the eternal flame always burns. Then the view of Yanardag - Burning Mountain is taken and the capital is visited then.
