Day 1: Nur-Sultan
Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to historical center of the city. At first you will explore the Constitution Square that is famous due to the decision of making the capital of the country from Almaty to Nur-Sultan (Astana). After that you will have an excursion in the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan* where the Golden man is preserved. Later on you will have an opportunity to stroll along the largest shopping center that is known as Khan Shatyr. You will be impressed by the view of the capital city from the very top of "Astana-Baiterek" monument. Moreover you will have an opportunity to cross the Ishym river to reach the Kazakh Eli Square. In course of the tour you will be able to visit the Palace of Peace and Khazret Sultan mosque. During the tour you will have a chance to have excursion in the National Museum of History of Kazakhstan*. While being here you will get a lot of information about development of Nur-Sultan as well as its history. Please note that the * Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and National Museum of History of Kazakhstan is closed on Mondays. You can visit another sites. Afterwards is transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Nur-Sultan- Almaty
Today you will have a morning flight to Almaty. In course of the tour you will explore the central part of Almaty and main parts. Your travel will start with the most visited place among locals the Green Bazaar. Many tourists like to come here and witness the real life of citizens. While being here you can find many interesting and tasty goods. In course of the travel you will It explore the famous Panfilov Park as well as one of the most prominent wooden buildings in the world as Zenkov Cathedral. Later on you will visit the site that was erected for those who died for freedom and independence of the country, the Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame. After exploring the most significant sight of the city you will be transferred to Medeo Gorge where you can observe the highest mountain skating ring in the world. Then is the Kok-Tobe hill with its the tallest TV tower in the world. Talking about Kok-Tobe Park, there you will have an opportunity to enjoy wonderful nature and visit shops. To reach the Almaty you need to have a ide in the famous cableway. Afterwards is transfer to hotel.
Day 3: Almaty - Tamgaly - Almaty
Today you will travel to the incredible in its beauty landscape of Almaty region. Tamgaly is interesting sight where you can find petroglyphs of rock art known as Zhetisu that is listed to UNESCO World heritage Site since 2004. The road to Tamgaly Gorge takes 170 km to reach from Almaty. Upon arrival you will have an opportunity to investigate an ancient art gallery where you can witness the individual animals and people that show the life of ancient people. The number of painting will amaze you here are about 2,000 paintings. During the excursion you will be able to see the images of solar deities, clowns, soldiers, married couples, pregnant women, multi-figure compositions, scenes of hunting and sacrifice. The pictures resemble the style of Sakas Most of the Bronze Age. Many years ago valley of Tamgaly recollected value of the preserve. Day 4: Almaty - Issyk Lake - Almaty
Today your destination is Trans-Ili Alatau where the picturesque Issyk Gorge is located. This wonderful gorge lies along the Kuldja tract, where ancient traders travelled. During the drive you will be able to listen about the history as well as witness the burial mounds of Saka period, where the famous "Golden Man" was found. This sight is known to become the state symbol of the Republic of Kazakhstan. You will have an opportunity to observe the copy of this sight in the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "ISSYK" mas well as other exhibits of the history and culture of the Saka period such as golden items, ancient ceramics, weapon, elements of horse equipment and the model of Saka burial mound. After it you will be transferred to the elevation of 1756 meters above sea level where the picturesque alpine lake Issyk is situated. You will be amazed by the fact that it appeared about 10,000 years ago because of the huge landslide. In addition you will listen about the natural disaster of 1963. Night is in the hotel.
Day 5: Almaty- BAO - Sunkar - Almaty
In course of the tour you will have an opportunity to explore one of the best gorges of the Kazakhstan, the Big Almaty gorge. This gorge can be found on the altitude of 2,510 m above sea level. This lake is one of the most breathtaking in Trans-Ili Alatau that lays among high mountains. This lake was formed due to the movement of an ancient glacier. That is the reason of water to be so cold in in July. Also it should be noted that the water of this lake is potable due to it the access to this lake is strictly controlled. Later on you will reach the altitude of 3 300 meters above sea level to enjoy the fantastic view of mountain peaks covered with Tian-Shan fir-tree, aspen and juniper. Tours to this sight is mostly due to the incredible view of the nature. In addition you will have the chance to visit the Falcon Farm, where you will enjoy seeing trained hawks and hunt with them. Night is in the hotel.
Day 6: Almaty - Altyn Emel
In the morning you will have a tour in Basshi village where the famous Altyn Emel National Park is located. Today you will have a chance to witness the one of the most popular and interesting sights of the city the Singing Dune. The height of which is about 150 meters and a length of about 3 km. You will be able to enjoy it on the corner of the Altyn-Emel National Park.
Just a few kilometers from the Ili river between the mountains of Big and Small Kalkan. You will be surprised by the fact that sound gives pure sand, which starts to "sing" in windy weather as the organ music. Later on you will be able to witness the panorama views as well as stunning sceneries of this area. While being here you will have time to observe purple mountains of Sogety and Boguty which looks from the white peaks of the Ketmen ridge. On the west the horizon is the Big Kalkan, and the Small Kalkan from the east. In the north are violet-blue ridge of Djungarian Alatau mountains, Chulak mountain, Matai and Altyn-Emel. After pleasant day you will return to Basshi village where you will sleep in guesthouse.
Day 7: Altyn Emel
In the mourning you will travel to the Aktau Mountains. Aktau Mountains (White Mountains) which can amaze you by layers of Paleogene lacustrine. Here you can witness the ancient animals of 25-30 million years such as giant rhinos, crocodiles, turtles. This sight resembles the shape of the Egyptian pyramids. In course of the tour you will have a lot of vibrant photos and this place is not exception. During the tour you will have an opportunity to see goats and gazelles that are living there. The so called Harsh Mountains are known due to being very ancient ruined mountains with conserved volcanic outputs. Despite their greatness, the mountains are very fragile and can break due to the least physical impact. These rocks are destroyed in the wind and rains. You will also be surprised to find here the sedimentary rock of the bottom of the ancient Tethys Ocean, which has the form of complex figures and landscapes. Night is in the guesthouse.
Day 8: Altyn Emel - Charyn Canyon - Almaty
In course of the tour you will have to travel to one of the most interesting sights of the country, Charyn Canyon. The road to this picturesque place takes about 2 hours. Upon arrival you will have an opportunity to see panorama view of Castles Valley. This canyon appeared due to the water and wind during Paleogene. You will be amazed by the similarity of Charyn Canyon and the Grand Canyon of Colorado River in North America. The height of the canyon is up to 150-300 meters that have different shapes and colors. The length of the valley is more than 2 km, width - 20-80 meters. While strolling to the end of it where you will be able to see the icy cold Charyn River you can fully enjoy the fabulous view of this canyon. In addition you will be able to visit the eco-park with several yurts as well as a small open air café that works only in the summer. Then you will drive to see other panoramic views. After spending 3-4 hours in the canyon you will return to Almaty. Night is in the hotel.
