Travelling without Visa:

Our country has a no visa -regime for 44 countries since 2012! All the essential information concerning this issue you can find in the following website www.mfa.kg. If you are a citizen of one of these countries then you will not need any visa or any other special permission. You can travel during 60 days without any registration in Kyrgyzstan.

You can receive a Tourist Visa:

- At a Kyrgyz Embassy or Consulate abroad with showing a letter of invitation. The cost of a visa may vary.

- If there is no Kyrgyz demonstration in a given country tourists can get in Russian or Kazakh Representation Office.

- Having arrived in the Bishkek Airport you should notify a representative of the Consular Section on arrival. The cost of a visa is $US 70.00.

Residence Conditions

Having arrived in Kyrgyzstan you must register within three working days in the passport department (OVIR) where you are staying (Office of Visas and Registrations), it is better to do it in Bishkek. You can do it by yourself. The address of the office is Kievskaya St., 58. Their off-days are Saturdays, Sundays or Mondays. Registration costs about 120 som. Before going to OVIR you must pay 120 som at the AKB Bank. If you stay in the country longer than three working days without registering and OVIR can prove it. You could be fined USD 25.
