Day 1: Kyrgyz border - Karakul Lake - Murgab
Tajikistan travel 7 welcomes you on tours! Meet your driver at the border and transfer to Murgab. Travelers will pass over mountains and high passes as Taldik pass of over 3615 meters high where you can admire magnificent views. See the Pamir Tract that is situated the light-blue lake of Karakul (3, 815 m). It is translated as "The Black Lake". Karakul is the uppermost large mountain lake of the world, exclusive of those in Tibet and Titicaca. Then we will drive to Murgab. People say in the Pamir: "to reach here and don't visit Murgab is like not visiting the Pamirs at all". It is the Roof of the World or Murgab. You will drive over the highest Ak Baital pass (4 655 m). The landscape of Murghab is likened to the surface of the Moon by visitors, watching the sight by own eyes. Night is in a guesthouse.
Day 2: Murgab - Khorog
This tour will start by driving to Khorog along Pamir Highway or M41 Pamir Tract. It is reflected the second highest mountain road after highway of Tibet. The road is placed over mountains and passes on the elevations of more than 4 000 meters above sea level. Travelers will pass over Koitezak pass (4 271 m) and admire the rocky mountains of this corner of the world have given benign haven to a exclusive variety of wildlife. On tours visitors will see wild mammals are Turkestan rat, tiger-cat, grizzly bear, badger, stoat, fox, grey and red wolves, Marco Polo sheep and of course rare snow leopard. Overnight is in a guesthouse.
Day 3: Khorog - Kalai Khum
We are glad to organize the next day of driving to Kalai Khum village. This area contains of high rocky mountains of over 6 000 meters where you will have an opportunity to admire the beauty of virgin atmosphere and see everyday life of mountain dwellers. On the way we will stop in small villages to communicate with local people. They will treat you with hospitality and tiy remember this for a long time. Human settlements are located on both sides of the river in narrow mountain valleys. On the other side of the river you will see Afgan stony villages and gardens. Night is in a home stay.
Day 4: Kalai Khum - Norak - Dushanbe
This tour will start by driving to Dushanbe via Afghanistan border and Shuraba pass of over 2 267 m. Travelers will admire the beauty of this area belonging to the Territory of Pamir Mountains. Long time ago it was encouraged the world's greatest explorers as Marco Polo, Hsuan Tsang, Mirza Muhammad Haidar. You have got a great chance to travel here. The next destination is a natural border - Pyanj River. See the celestial Pamirs looking like white and blue mountains. On the route, you will see Norak water reservoir or Tajik Sea. Transfer to a hotel for sleep.
Day 5: Dushanbe
Today you will have a guided city tour. The first destination is Rudake Park, then National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. Don't miss to walk to the National park and Ministry of Inner Affairs. The biggest National Flag in the world of 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long is located there. We will travel to Central Museum as well as Gurminj Museum of traditional musical instruments. In addition, you will be transferred to Asian bazaar where you can taste fresh fruits and vegetables as well as buy goods at the affordable price. In the end of day is transfer to a hotel for rest.
Day 6: Flight
In the morning is transfer to the airport. Tajikistan travel 7 is successfully done!
