Day 1: Kyrgyz border - Karakul Lake - Murgab
This Tajikistan travel 8 is designed for mountain lovers. At the border you will be met by the driver and transferred to Murgab. Here you will drive over Taldik pass, which of 3615 meters high and enjoy magnificent views. Near the Pamir Tract is situated the blue lake of Karakul of about 3, 815 m. It is translated "The Black Lake" and considered to be the highest large mountain lake of the world as in Tibet and Titicaca. If you came in Tajikistan and didn't visit Murgab, it means you didn't see Pamirs at all" or the Roof of the World. On the way you will drive over the highest Ak Baital pass (4 655 m) and see the marvelous landscape of Murghab. Night is in a guesthouse.
Day 2: Murgab - Yashil Kul Lake - Bulunkul Lake
We are glad to impress you by the stunning lakes of the Pamirs are Yashil Kul and Bulunkul (Blue lakes), overextended on the altitude of 3 700 meters above sea level and located in the Murghab district. The water in Bulunkul is violate and dark-blue in the sunlight. There is a lot fish in the lake. Travelers will see domestic animals as yaks. They produce milk and meat products. In addition, we will drive over Naizatash pass (4 137 m). Night is in a homestay.
Day 3: Bulunkul - Yamg
This tour will start by travelling to Yam over Khargush pass (4 344 m). This route is covered by the rocky mountains which allow to see the real wildlife as mammals: Turkestan rat, tiger-cat, grizzly bear, badger, stoat, fox, grey and red wolves as well as a huge population of Marco Polo sheep and rare snow leopard. Night is in a homestay.
Day 4: Yamg - Khorog
Today we will travel via Tajik Afgan border to Khorog located in the heart of Central Asia. Travelers will see sky-scraping, snow-capped, celestial mountains, see-through clear blue waters of lakes and rivers, extensive valleys and bone-dry deserts. This wonderful area is called "the Roof of the World". The land of Pamirs is located at elevations from 3 500 to 4 200 meters above sea level. Pamir people are differing from local Tajiks and have their own culture and traditions. Your days spent on Tajikistan tours will be incredible. Night is in a guesthouse.
Day 5: Khorog - Kalai Khum
In the morning you will travel to Kalai Khum village. This area involves of high rocky mountains of about 6 000 meters. Every traveler will admire the beauty of virgin surroundings and learn more about the ethnography, history and everyday life of mountain people. You will have an opportunity to rest in small villages to communicate with local people and treated with open heart. On the other side of the river you will see Afgan stony villages and bright gardens. Transfer to a home stay for sleep.
Day 6: Kalai Khum - Norak - Dushanbe
The tour will start by travelling to Dushanbe along Afghanistan border and Shuraba pass of about 2 267 m. This part belongs to the Territory of Pamir Mountains and long time ago was impressed by the world's greatest explorers like Marco Polo, Hsuan Tsang, Mirza Muhammad Haidar. We will drive along the border - Pyanj River and see the celestial mountain system of white and blue mountains. On the way you will see Norak water reservoir, simply Tajik Sea. Night is in a hotel.
Day 7: Dushanbe
The last day of our tour will start from a guided city tour. Travelers will visit Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. The next destination is the National park and Ministry of Inner Affairs. Here you will see the biggest National Flag in the world of 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. Visit the Central Museum as well as Gurminj Museum of traditional musical instruments. Travelers will enjoy walking to Asian bazaar and get inspiration of oriental goods, fresh fruits and vegetables. After productive day is transfer to a hotel.
Day 8: Flight
